2025 Aluminum Platelet. Aluminium 2025 is a widely used aerospace alloy for applications requiring high strength to weight ratio. In the annealed state, aluminum 2025 has good workability but is only fair to poor in tempers.
2025 aluminum also has high strength and some heat resistance, making it suitable for working parts below 150°c. Good machinability and surface finish capabilities.
